Mocking

Tonight was the mock Obama night including and especially from Palin. It must be noted for the record that the Democrats did not mock McCain.

Follow up: I do believe Gov Palin was too long on mockery and too short on substance. She simply doesn't have the gravitas to be mocking anyone and I think Brian in comments is exactly right, this just won't play well outside of the XCel Center. Suggestions by some this morning on the news channels that Palin is essentially the new Reagan are greatly exaggerated.

Politics by mockery is a Texas tradition that the Bush's have taken national with considerable success. Look what they did to Al Gore and John Kerry.

Peggy Noonan and Mike Murphy think the Texas style won't work this year.
